If you’ve listened to our podcasts, then you know that Skwerl and Matt are fans of the Pokemon game series. In the vein of similar interests, allow me to point you towards this weeks Photoshop Phriday over at Something Awful, in which Photoshop artists have created real life versions of Pokemon. Its fun!

NEW SCC in Toon Town
NEW Wiik Sauce
Todays Stink Child Comics is kind of a short, yet very accurate, review of the new film “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” already the film is a contender for the “Longest Title of the Year” award.
I’m also finding myself somewhat envious of Tycho from Penny Arcade with every comic update he manages to have this very long and well-written essay about something. I, however, don’t have the ability to do that. I wish I did but I don’t have much more to say than “Here’s new comics”…so with that being said…
Here’s new comics…
So, we’re going to start doing Caption Contests on the forums. The hope is every Thursday we’ll have a new one. We’ll select a winner out of all the posted captions and do that picture up LOLcat style (with your caption photoshopped on the picture) and it’ll live on in immortality, for all to read and enjoy. So don’t suck!
In order to join in, you’ll need to register and join at the forums. For the sake of keeping all the comments there, comments are disabled on this post.
And this weeks picture comes from Rob Liefeld’s official website, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find something funny about it.

NEW Wiik Sauce
Odd title for a new comics post isn’t it?
Trust me, when you read the comics, which are all new by the way, the title will all make sense
So, this is the one I mentioned last week. We’re going to piss off some people with this one, namely Residue creator and former site contributer Racoon, whom the Wiik Sauce character of the same name is loosely based on.
(I cannot stress the word loosely enough.)
Racoon’s been in the works of bringing back his web comic Residue for some time now, and recently published #48 and #49 on his deviantArt account. Skwerl and I have kept in touch with him for some time about the strip, and have decided to take a long, somewhat harsh look at the series. Mind you, we don’t hate him. And we really do wish him success in his strip. But…well…just listen and you’ll get it.
Don’t fret, the whole recording isn’t about that. We also discuss the future of web comics, and where the SCC site plays into this. Its all good clean fun, and we look forward to reading your comments about it.
