In this episode Ben, Bob, Ian and Mike discuss some rather disparaging remarks made on twitter by a former colaborative partner on SCC.
Surprisingly the conversation took us through a majority of the Podcast.

Well, this was interesting. Should be noted for the record that I was just joking around with the cartoonists vs. writers thing. And I’m pretty sure I told Charly that authors, not writers, were better than cartoonists. However, cartoonists are awesome. Obviously.
I probably shouldn’t say this, but I kinda think you like to “spin the truth” at times too Mike, or at least hyperbole. But who doesn’t really.

Wow! Lots of venom here!
I’ll be careful never to block any of you - not that I ever say much there these days. But you know … (I still laughed though so that probably makes me a BAD person)

Mike, I’ve got to say, this is amazing. Thanks for this.
You’re absolutely right, I haven’t written shit lately. I’ve not done a damn thing. What happened with Wiik Sauce really fucked with me. It tore me down. It was a pretty bad blow. Here was a guy I trusted, and I was completely wrong. And rather than discussing this with me like an adult, he just tore it all down. Rather than giving me any kind of notice, I had to find out when I thought that my RSS Reader was dead.
Telling you what to put on your site? You have to tell me I’m overstepping my boundaries, sir! After redesigning you website numerous times and you asking me to set things up, I took charge and fixed things as they would work best. I guess you could have talked to me like this like an adult, but I suppose pitching a fit in your podcast months after the fact is better.
All you had to do was talk to me. Like a human being. And that would have been fine.
And yes, I blocked you. All of you. Because I’m done moping, and I’m done feeling sorry for myself. Because I’m picking up the pieces and moving on.
I hope you all enjoyed this podcast. I won’t be retaliating. I’ve kept everything between the two of us, and been as courteous as I could be in all this, never aiming to get anyone else to take my side, and never trying to go out of my way to cause you any pain.
So, enjoy. I wish you the best of luck in the future. And Racoon, it’s really nice to see you still sitting in Mike’s lap and doing nothing but bitching of your own accord. I’m sure you’ll eventually abandon him for someone else when he pisses you off in the future.
Oh, and I can still see your Tweets. Best of luck in the future!

Yes, you kept it between the two of us…guess THIS was written by someone else…

Audio Levels Much?
July 20th, 2009 at 3:48 am
Yeah, mike your audio was louder than the rest of us in this ep listening back to it.
July 20th, 2009 at 4:10 am
Odd, mine is usually the quiet one…meh

That was a one time response written in regards to your own post about the end of Wiik Sauce, which painted you as some kind of genius.
I noticed that after the comments on the post favored me quite a bit (well, aside from your friends, obviously), that post mysteriously disappeared. Care to comment on that?

This whole thing seems in poor taste. The podcast seems to resemble an eighth grade playground argument. Lame.
July 20th, 2009 at 10:54 am
Favored you quite a bit? You mean the ONE guy that was saying he was going to boycott the page from then on?
And the plan was always to make a post explaining what I did, let people say yay or nay, get whatever they wanted out. Delete it. Forget it. And move on from there. And I was perfectly content to leave it all back then but someone had to start crying on his twitter.
July 20th, 2009 at 10:54 am
I wouldn’t disagree. It’s my page and I even thought it was in poor taste. Kinda what we do around here

What Chris doesn’t seem to understand is that Mike and I’s friendship is one of understanding, not me being a lap dog. Mike and I get along because we know who each other is.
He’s pissed me off in the past and I’ve pissed him off, friends can do that, but at the end of the day he and I are still good mates and let shit flow under the bridge.
Now while I wasn’t totally happy with the subject of the podcast, I felt the need to throw in my two cents, which I did, and having listened back to it both Ian and Ben did too, are they also Mike’s mindless minions?
Everything I said in that recording was of my own mind, I’ve never tried to be Chris’ friend and only used to give him time of day cos Mike spoke to him.
Also, my name is Bob, Rob, Robert or any other variation, not Racoon.

That’s how I am here. I think the subject of the podcast wasn’t of good taste for the new podcast and just like you and ian I’m just one of mike’s mates.
