Yes, we’re aware there was some forum downtime last night in the wee, wee hours. It wasn’t on our end, personally, but looks like it was a problem on the end of the SQL Database host.
Regardless, the forums are back up and running full force, so why aren’t you there? Registration is free, and your favorite Stink Children are already there. And hey, I’m there too.
Join up now. http://forums.stinkchildcomics.com/
Also, we’re working on a “Stinkipedia”. Its…probably going to be a lot of work. So if you want to submit something, why not shoot me a line at christopher@stinkchildcomics.com and let me know what you’d like to make an article about. There’s no pay, of course, but you’ll get the joy of knowing you created part of a masterpiece.
Alright guys, I haven’t gotten the chance to watch it yet since I’m at work, but Skwerl’s interview with Pacific Fen Spotlight is up on the website now. You can watch it here.
Also, a belayed thanks, but there were some minor cameos in this artwork over at Dreamer’s Dynasty. We got the pingback a while ago, but I didn’t notice it until just now. There’s some mature content there, but there’s also some mature content here, so whatever. Consider yourself warned.
NEW Stink Child Comics
NEW SCC in Toon Town
NEW Wiik Sauce
I have a question for you guys…
After reading some recent PVP and finding a comic called Sequential Art , I’ve suddenly found myself reexamining the designs of our characters.
PVP, as part of their 10 Year overhaul of the comic, aged their characters Francis and Marcy. That was the first thing that had me thinking. Then I found myself really enjoying the art in Sequential Art and wanting to do a style like that only with less furries.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the style I use and I’ve just, in the past year or so, gotten comfortable enough with it where the characters don’t shift sizes and shapes dramatically from frame to frame. And maybe that’s part of the problem, I feel like I’ve mastered this style, I’ve slayed that dragon. What challenge can I tackle next? But I wanna know what you guys think.
I’ve seen the site hits and I KNOW people look at this web page, even if they don’t necessarily interact. But now I’m asking, that they give legitimate feedback. Do you enjoy the style as-is? Or do you think it could do with a change? A quick change? Or a slow evolutionary change? Do you want examples of where I’m planning on going? Or do you trust that I know what to do with the strips? Should I stop with all this "Style Change" Jibber Jabber all together?
Let me know…

So, I’ve got an account on Twitter, one that I haven’t used a whole lot. However I plan on using it a lot more!
I still, as of yet, don’t know how exactly to get the little Twitter applet on the page. But once I figure that out, I’ll be sure to get that on the page so that everyone can come along with the ride as I careen through this is existence I laughingly refer to as my life.
But you can do that anyway if you follow my Twitter feed!

You can now see what I’m doing as I post throughout the day
NEW Stink Child Comics
NEW SCC in Toon Town
NEW Wiik Sauce
By the address of the site you might notice that the SCC comics are the flagship title of this web page. However there have been two comics that should have never been that are now 100 strips deep.
I wrote up a small story on the mistake that is Toon Town began and why it’s still going. And Chris wrote up a narrative on Wiik Sauce.
He makes a point that 100 isn’t a real milestone in web comics. Almost everyone makes it to 100, if they care enough about it to go that far. But I think making it to 100 on two strips that were never intended to be ongoing strips is kind of important.
So now, we get to work on the next 100.
Hope you’ll all come along with us.
